There’s fights on different fronts and between different people, they really tried to cover their ground with everyone here. As always, the fight choreography is outstanding and the action really goes on for the majority of this episode. Bucky is already on scene, Sharon is also there as support (for a second I thought she was a skrull, but she just wore a mask) and you can be sure that John Walker is on his way as well. From last episode, we pick up again with GRC being on lockdown and getting evacuated but in actuality kidnapped by the Flag Smashers.I’m not exaggerating when I say I squealed with joy every single time it was said. I love how he called himself Captain America when he showed up, how the cc captions called him Captain America the entire episode and even bystanders, because he truly is everything Cap stands for. Not only did he get new wings from the Wakandans, but also a badass Captain America suit to go with it and I couldn’t be happier. I think that’s the most important part of the episode, so I just needed to get that right out of the way. Sam Wilson is now officially and without a doubt in the world Captain America.Without further ado (and because I know how lengthy these posts get) let’s dive in! However, as much as I loved this journey I also have some small quarrels with the finale and as per usual, a lot to talk about. What Anthony Mackie brought to this role and what they allowed him to explore on this show was such a fantastic feast to watch and I’m forever grateful they chose these characters to dig deeper. In all sincerity, I don’t remember the last time I was so proud and appreciative of a character as I am of Sam Wilson. Let me tell you, this episode was a rollercoaster of emotions for me! I cheered, I cried, I was in awe. Sam takes on the mantle of Captain America and faces off against the Flag Smashers in one final battle (with the help of more than just his trusted friends). As per usual, the following post is full of Spoilers and meant to be read after watching the show. It’s one thing if you’re Val ( Julia Louis-Dreyfus) who’s keeping her cards close to the chest, but we’ve known Sharon since 2014 and still can’t explain much about her, even when she seems comfortable in this new role as Power Broker. This is the review/recap for the season finale “One World, One People” of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. That’s the issue with trying to set Sharon up as a new threat: we don’t know what she stands for, so we don’t know why she’s a threat beyond being an insidious player. Sharon is a friend and fellow fighter except she has her own agenda which is… what, exactly? Is Sharon only in it for herself now? Is being the Power Broker her true calling? And if so, what does the Power Broker want? Is it only to amass power and do deals, or is it to destabilize governments like the government she felt betrayed her? John Walker ( Wyatt Russell) is a symbol of white supremacy and America’s militarism, except at the end where he’s now an ally and has a fancy new costume. The Flag Smashers are bad guys except when they’re delivering food and medicine to refugees, but also, they burn people alive for reasons. The problem, as was frequently the case with The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, is that everything is so poorly defined. RELATED: How That 'Falcon and the Winter Soldier' Ending Let John Walker Off the Hook The implication of the scene is that the Power Broker isn’t going anywhere, has only gotten stronger, and Sharon will be a formidable foe in the ongoing story of the MCU. However, after she receives her pardon, she walks outside and talks to someone on the phone and recounts how while they no longer have access to super soldiers, they now have access to government secrets and other goodies.

Setting aside why Bucky ( Sebastian Stan) could secure a pardon for decades of murders as the Winter Soldier but Sharon couldn’t for the crime of helping Captain America ( Chris Evans), Sharon seems to get what she wants: her old life back. In the mid-credits scene of the finale, we see that Sam ( Anthony Mackie) has delivered on his promise and got Sharon a pardon for her crimes. The finale also chose to reveal that she’s also the Power Broker, although the motives and goals of the Power Broker beyond “power and brokering” are incredibly unclear even as the show comes to a conclusion. She’s an ally in Captain America: The Winter Soldier, a resource and then oddly a lady to kiss in Captain America: Civil War, and then she shows up again in The Falcon and the Winter Soldieras a well-connected fugitive. The MCU has never figured out what to do with Sharon Carter ( Emily VanCamp).
